Humanitarian? Really?

Nugent had previously been criticized for Times columns that urged the suspension of the voting privileges of “any American who is on welfare” and stated, “I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War.” Last year he also accused the “Obama gang” of treason, and drew Secret Service scrutiny after he told an NRA crowd that “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

I find it ironic , only for a lack of a better word , that a draft dodger, who pulled off the trick that he did at the Draft Board , went on to be, not really a hippie , Nugent was more of the Headbanger type in his music and stage antics ,and then flips to be a right wing chicken hawk ,chief Obama Hater and gets soap box called “The Ted Offensive ” .
Nugent’s always been anti-government , which shouldn’t be confused with the 60’s ” anti-establishment ” for they were two different persuasions . For most of the time Nugent’s been in the woods with his guns .When Beck started his show on Fox , and the Obama pre-election hate syndrome began , Nugent was drawn out of the woods to rant alongwith Beck ,as Beck played the drooling admirerer . Perhaps that “better word ” is HYPOCRITE .

Ted’s best work as a rocker was when Derek St. Holmes sang for him. But Ted the egomaniac couldn’t handle sharing the spotlight so he got rid of St. Holmes and started trying to be lead singer and from that point on his music sucked ass. He’s not welcome back in the D. He can keep his draft dodging poopy pants down in Texas forever.
