Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Found Guilty of Racketeering, Extortion (UPDATED)

Kwame Kilpatrick has been found guilty of racketeering, several counts of extortion and mail fraud today.
The verdicts were delivered for 40 of 45 counts against Kilpatrick, Bobby Ferguson and Kilpatrick’s father, Bernard Kilpatrick, and read by federal Judge Nancy Edmunds. The jury has not reached a decision on five counts.
Kilpatrick faces up to 20 years in prison. Sentencing is expected to take place in a month
