There’s a heavy dose of hypocrisy here, too, because so much of Rubin’s columns and blog posts are direct GOP talking points…

It’s funny how the second amendment means so much to them, the first not so much.

Rubin probably just can’t conceive of a journalist saying or writing something without consulting somebody’s talking points. I doubt she can comment on the weather without consulting the RNC first.

“The story was not wrong,†Rubin disagreed.

So RubinRWNJ thinks the actual real emails said the same thing as the summary?

^^^This is probably the honest to god truth.

Also, if someone brings up facts, they’re obviously just using talking points from some liberal site. Media Matters better stop posting facts, because once they do those facts can never be repeated! That’s pretty convenient.

If he was actually using MMfA’s talking points and the talking points were correct, does it really matter?

As another poster wrote on RS: “Jennifer Rubin has the sociopathic likeness of Ayn Rand…it’s in the eyes. She is dead behind the eyes.”

 Frank says:

The family was from Arkansas. The Dad (Dink) was a furniture salesman in San Bernardino, but back in the way-back-when he used to play 'bones' or 'spoons' in a minstrel show. To relive the golden days of yesteryear he would, from time to time, force his children to accompany him (Ronnie on guitar, Kenny on trombone) in a living room replay of a minstrel routine called "Lazy Bones."

The kids often found this to be an inconvenience, as they were fascinated by, and constantly perfecting new techniques for, The Manly Art Of Fart-Burning. Kenny explained to me that it was scientific - that it demonstrated (this is a real quote) "Compression, ignition, combustion and exhaust." -- Kenny & Ronnie Williams (later immortalized in "Let's Make The Water Turn Black").
