So can Floridans then unseat Rubio for being an ass? I’d like Rubio to answer why he thinks it’s acceptable to fire someone for being gay, would Marco be okay if someone said it was say okay to fire someone for being Cuban-American. Marco’s supposed to be one of the new and yougn fresh voices for the GOP but he’s just as if not more bigoted than his older counterparts.

RUBIO: I haven’t read the legislation. By and large I think all Americans should be protected but I’m not for any special protections based on orientation.

KEYES: What about on race or gender?

RUBIO: Well that’s established law.

KEYES: But not for sexual orientation?

So, by logical extension, if he was in office back when the first basic protections were being passed, he would be against them, since at the time they weren’t “Established Law”. That really should have been the next question out of Keyes mouth.

Once again, the wacky right knows how to put their best foot in their mouth.

By now, I could not possibly care less about the possible difference between Rubio being a bigot, or just pandering to the bigots in his base.

Not what I am saying, I am saying Rubio’s supposedly a fresh and young voice in the GOP but he’s just as toxic as say Santorum when it comes to LGBT rights. I’d like to hear him candidly answer why one’s sexual orientation should be able to cost them a job but one’s race or religion cannot.

I’d like a clear answer to that question as well. Assuming his answer would be unfavorable, I’m merely adding that I don’t care if he is sincerely a bigot in his own right, or just panders to them for votes.

Because he doesn’t believe that either, but doesn’t have the guts to say so. I’m sure most Republicans today secretly believe that they should have the right to fire anyone who isn’t a white, bible-humping, fundamentalist Christian.

Oh I don’t either. Sincere bigot, pandering bigot, they’re both terrible.
