Lubbock Musician Danny Charles Earnest, ‘Dangerous Dan,’ Dead at 60

A notable Lubbock musician has died.
The body of 60-year-old Danny Charles Earnest was found a short distance away from his vehicle on the southern edge of Seymour, Texas on Thursday morning, according to KAMC News.
Earnest was driving back to Lubbock from Plano on September 21st and had been reported missing.
The Baylor County Sheriff’s Office says that as of yet, there is no evidence of foul play in the case.
Earnest was the front man for “Dangerous Dan and the Blues Deacons,” but had reduced the band’s performances due to health reasons.
