“Verbatim regurgitation of previously seen material is the entire point of the ACE system.”

Of course! If you reward thinking, soon the students might start thinking something you don’t want them to.

But if you ask them what is wrong with a Madrasa, they’ll say the problem is all the students do all day is memorize the Koran.

Yeah, this home schooling is *sooo* much better than that.

Of course the curriculum is stupid - look at who’s writing it.

Another example shows that “Elisabeth Howard sat and listened carefully.” Students are then challenged to identify whether Elisabeth Howard is “a kind of airplane” or “a missionary.”

Too easy. The “Elisabeth Howard” is the airplane that dropped the A-Bomb on Jericho.

Sounds like they are taking lessons in child education from the Chinese. Memorize, regurgitate, rinse, repeat.

There’s a big difference between the two systems, however. China’s education system was designed by reasonably intelligent people.

My god. These people are destroying their own heritage by deliberately turning their kids into fucktards.

I’m looking forward to seeing the future Teabagger spawn living in the destitute slums of Mega City One, entirely the wards of the state, entirely dependent on welfare and government assistance, unable to even raise their own kids because they’re so god-damn DUMB.
