A law which required PA voters to show ID at the polling places is no longer. The author of this page for one is very happy that I will not have to show my awful looking driver’s license to my neighbors who have known me for over thirty years. Please read the brief from “Radio Times:” whyy.org

Tom Corbetts’ Pennsylvania attempt at the GOP nationwide scam gets shot down. That’s great news. The only fraud here is Corbett. A little more in depth here. Now if we can get the gerrymandering fixed, that would be a home run.

My pleasure. Corbett is my “governor” too. He’s as naked a con man as you’ll see. He’s attempting a Scott Walker with “right to work” legislation aimed at state employees. He’s a cancer. Tried to sell the Turnpike and Lottery. Hell, he’d sell you and me and is trying to.

Voter identification[edit]
HAVA requires any voter who registered by mail and who has not previously voted in a federal election to show current and valid photo identification or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the voter. Voters who submitted any of these forms of identification during registration are exempt, as are voters entitled to vote by absentee ballot under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act.
