Men or women being proud of the number of people they fucked is pointless and really quite a shame, I should be much prouder if sooner or later I can establish a loving relationship. Am I a dinosaur?

But “slut-shaming” is horrible and misogynistic and I suppose this is pretty much just saying “I have sex, deal with it”, fair enough in itself.

agreed = but i think this falls somewhere within the point Camara Laye was making in the radiance of the king when he reversed the racial stereotypes.
