I don’t know about this now. This just doesn’t sound like something a sugar daddy would say to his mistress to me.

Sterling tells his girlfriend: “You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.”

Later, he makes the point specifically about Magic Johnson, telling her that “it’s too bad you can’t admire (Johnson) privately…bring him here, feed him, f*** him, I don’t care. You can do anything. But don’t put him on an Instagram for the world to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games. OK?”

She can f*** him, he doesn’t care? That has to be some kind of a first for a guy in his position.

According to the Clippers’ press release,

“We have heard the tape on TMZ,” the statement said. “We do not know if it is legitimate or it has been altered. … We do know that the woman on the tape — who we believe released it to TMZ — is the defendant in a lawsuit brought by the Sterling family, alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would ‘get even.’”

re: #3 sagehen

I just listened to the 9+ minute tape, and it’s pretty clear his (ex?) girlfriend is baiting him all the way. It almost sounds like she’s reading from a script.

While that doesn’t excuse him for what he said, it puts a little different spin on it if she was pushing his buttons, knowing how he’d react, so she could get back at him.

Rich old men and young women. The fuckers just never learn.

I worked phone sex in college. There are lots of guys who get off on their girlfriends/wives bringing other men in to sleep with them while they watch or whatever.
There are also a lot of white guys who get off on the thought of a black guy &^%$%$ their partner.

Sounds like these two deserve each other.

Even if she set him up, he’s still an asshole and a racist on tape

another thing i’ve noticed on the SportsCenter coverage of this story (i’m watching the playoffs) is that they are featuring prominent Laker legend tweets. Magic makes sense b/c he’s part of the story, but they’ve done James Worthy too. There’s a little bit of the media loving the Lakers and hating on the Clippers in this story as well, but the owner is still a twit

No argument from me on that. Obviously his mistress was well aware of that too, and knew how to get him to say it on tape.

Since I doubt they were still seeing each other after he accused her of embezzlement, she must have made this recording earlier as insurance.

And it just keeps getting worse for Daddy Racebucks.

Donald Sterling’s wife of more than 50 years describes his alleged mistress as a gold digger who seduces older, wealthy men and persuades them to shower her with gifts, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on March 7.
The Clippers team owner and a woman identified as V. Stiviano allegedly began an affair after meeting at the 2010 Super Bowl game and were still in the relationship as of the filing date, according to the lawsuit filed by Rochelle H. Sterling, who is described in the suit as “a married woman seeking to protect and recover community property in her individual capacity.”
Rochelle Sterling alleges that her husband used community property to buy Stiviano a 2012 Ferrari, two Bentleys and a 2013 Range Rover, worth a total of more than $500,0000.
Sterling also allegedly gave Stiviano $1.8 million to buy a duplex on West 4th Street near the Beverly Center last December, according to the suit, which claims that Sterling additionally provided her with $240,000 for upkeep and living expenses.

It would have been a lot cheaper to just use pros. Did this dumb bastard think he was what she was interested in?

Can he use standard form to deduct gold digger expenses, or does he have to itemize?

Either way, it’s no wonder they’re always whining about their taxes. It takes a lot of money to create just one job. Poor, oppressed 1%ers. What a hard life they live.

Donald Sterling’s Ex Wife called Sterling mistress V. Stiviano “gold digger” in 1.8 millie embezzlement lawsuit

— Sterling’s official statement on this story referred to this lawsuit as a “Sterling family lawsuit” attempting to paint his accuser when it’s actually his ex-wife suing his mistress — wow what a scumbag!

I don’t see where it says she’s his ex-wife.

And one more kick in the nuts before this really starts to cost the asshole some big money.

NAACP Will No Longer Give Clippers Owner Lifetime Achievement Award

CAITLIN MACNEAL - APRIL 27, 2014, 11:01 AM EDT
Interim president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Lorriane Miller, on Sunday said that the organization has decided to no longer honor Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

“He is not receiving a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP,” Miller said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” according to Politico.

Sterling, who has come under fire for allegedly telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to his games, was scheduled to receive an award from the Los Angeles NAACP chapter at an event in May.

Miller on Sunday denounced Sterling’s racist comments and called for the Clippers owner to make a statement about the audio recording of his remarks.

“If you’re silent about this, then you’re accepting this,” she said. “People have got to say that this is not good and do something about it.”

re: #14 Skip Intro

SportsCenter kept referring to her as ex-wife, but they may just be de facto separated. Wikipedia says they’re still married.

Seems weird that your wife would sue your mistress but not sue you for divorce.

But we’re talking about a billionaire weirdo family, so who knows?
