‘GET OFF MY LAWN’: Men Officially Turn Grumpy at the Age of 70

Now scientists have pinpointed the moment kindly old gents start shouting ‘get off my lawn’ - and it seems it’s on their 70th birthday.

A 15-year study found that although stresses and strains reduced for men after the age of 50, happiness still began to dip 20 years later.

Psychologists interviewed more than 1,000 men repeatedly between 1989 and 2004 and found they had fewer ‘hassles’ as they got older and daily life became simpler.

Yet their overall happiness then reduced around the age of 70 for a huge range of reasons, the scientists found.

In the end, having a severely dysfunctional family pays off. You don’t get so depressed when they start dying off.

They do say that ignorance is bliss, but most of the pig-ignorant Fox Followers seem pretty angry and scared, and not especially blissful.

I have a feeling it all has to do with frustration. That frustration can be manifested in many ways. Regrets, seeing things change, sad that you can’t do what you used to do, angry with politics. On and on.

As I am heading fast toward 60, I hope to keep all that in mind. I hope being an artist allows me to keep creating as long as I can to help prevent yelling at people about getting off my lawn.

I use a guy like Willie Nelson as an inspiration. Keith Richards too. Maybe I need to smoke righteous herbage from Colorado?
