I agree with RWC that it is destruction of property and could have possibly hurt a member of that crowd.

Didn’t look careless to me. I’d call it intentional. On the other hand, if that was my quad, I would have bailed, gone higher. It’s a STANLEY CUP CELEBRATION. Was there buses overturned? Cars set on fire? Trains or trolleys high jacked? People hurt? I did not hear any bad news from LA as the party wound up and went on. A RC Quad is down. Hang them. Tempting target. Buzz over a crowd of happy “HOCKEY FANS” (thugs). That Quad was pulled to pieces and taken as souvenirs. Could have hurt someone? It could have given someone 8 stitches and as far as they were concerned, they get a piece and the video, they’re cool. BTW, was it gas or battery? BIG difference. I’d go battery, as a gas Quad could have flashed out of there in a heartbeat. Forbes. The OUTRAGE. Have another beer. Journalism. Just what is that? Philly Quad Copter Crash. Where was the concern?///////////////

Note to RWC!. When you quote a price of $959.00.

And congratulations Kings fans, you managed to ruin another fan’s night and his $959 remote controlled helicopter, you also committed a crime.

That is not a child’s toy.

Might want to reword your title to something like this.

Kids Toy RC Drone Carelessly Destroyed By Hockey Fan

Down ding for a misleading title

re: #3 Bubblehead II

Well I’ll say this in defense of the deliberately contrasting title-Say “drone” and this is what comes to mind really. So I had a lil snark in my headline. I do regard that thing as a toy.

Would toy drone work?

That thing is less money than lots of bicycles. As far as real drones go by any reasonable comparison (and by the way intent) they are toys by comparison. Size, weight, range…. Look at these listings. Pages and pages of quadcopter toys some of which also carry cameras.

So where is the line? Price does not seem to fit, there are lots of expensive toys.

The first I’ll give you. Those are drones. They carry weapons and are capable of killing people. The latter not so much.

Can they carry a camera? Yes. Does that make them a toy or a drone?

To be honest. I don’t know. Some are toys are for kids. Others for Adults

Having a history of R/C (cars/boats) when does a toy become a weapon?

Cost? Capability? What?

BTW. Just to clear the air.

Drone. Remotely operated vehicle capable of offensive strike with lethal weapons .

UAV: Surveillance only . Difference? A small frogs ass hair. Want clarification.

//// Ask Kilogor. He knows frog ass.

Expecting civil behavior from sport fans is silly.
