She has no threat to her left, so it makes perfectly good strategic sense to shift a bit to the right, leaving the Republicans virtually no breathing room. Clinton and Obama both could easily have been moderate Republicans a decade ago, back when such a thing existed.

Too bad her name is Clinton and she’s a woman. Otherwise, she could be a contender for the GOP pres nomination in 2016.

What’s this, the opening salvo from The Maxine Waters for President camp? I must have missed Hillary coming out for abortion restrictions, hooking up with the evangelical theocrats and pushing tax cuts for billionaires. Oh and national open carry.

I’m not looking forward to a Hilary Clinton campaign. She’s no Barack Obama and she’s no Bill Clinton. She made too many unforced mistakes eight years ago, including having the belief that the nomination was hers for the taking. She also was too willing to jump on anything to use as a point against Obama, I guess I’m saying she can be a slave to expedience. I don’t remember anything she said she would do as President. In every state in which she and Obama had more than a week to campaign, she ALWAYS lost ground, even in the states she won. I remember in Pennsylvania, a state in which she “trounced” Barack Obama, it turns out the margin was only 9%, while polling a month earlier showed a 20% lead. Oh yeah, she voted for the war. Honestly, what qualifies her to be President? She became a Senator riding her husband’s coattails in a safe Democratic seat, had a chance to take a stand against the war and sat down instead.

I don’t think Clinton would have defeated John McCain.

God. Anyone but Hillary. Please, god. Give me a moral compromise I can swallow without a bottle of Jack during the general election.
