If that was supposed to be convincing me of something, it failed. The tired “can’t keep your doctor” trope hit very few people (thanks insurance companies) and the “free birth control BS is singing to the choir.

Who, exactly, is the target market for this ad? I highly doubt most women are going to buy what this ad is selling.

There were similar ads during the 2012 cycle, they didn’t work either. I hope the keep wasting money on foolishness.

They don’t have a clue who voted for Obama, or why. I’m way too old for the demographic they’re aiming that at, but I would never have identified with the young woman in the ad.
Someone out there thinks young women vote with their emotions. Not a winning message. It insults those who don’t and won’t convince those few who do.

Americans for Shared Prosperity WTF is that? Shared with whom?

Are they admitting that Americans For Prosperity is just really Kochs For Prosperity?

I don’t think they are ASP smart as they think they are.

So to paraphrase this commercial:
You women need to remember that you only voted for Obama because “You fell in love” with someone you thought was “smart, charming, handsome , and articulate. Someone with all “the right values” someone you trusted, but by 2012 you should have known that it was all nothing but lies you dumb B**ches!

More GOP “rebranding” by out of touch tone-deaf idiots, thank you!

Dear GOP,

Please keep wasting your campaign advertising money on ineffective, condescending nonsense like this. You’re making our job of appealing to women that much easier.

Thanks in advance,
The Democratic Party

Really that was even worse than the hipster complaining about the minimum wage increase. These guys really have no clue on how to sell any issue to people who aren’t old white male conservatives do they? If I was a woman and I saw that, I’d be unbelievably offended at how low this group seems to think of my intelligence.

Sorry, but I think creepy Uncle Sam is still number one.

As tone deaf as Glenn Greenwald in New Zealand.

Shared Prosperity? I don’t know, that sounds kinda Marxist to me.

The funny (ironic?) thing:

The ad was made by political consultant Rick Wilson and paid for by a group called Americans for Shared Prosperity, which is headed by wealthy California businessman John Jordan. Politico’s Maggie Haberman interviewed Jordan recently, and he said that his goal was “to communicate with women voters in a way that outside groups and campaigns haven’t.” He added, “The purpose of this is to treat women voters more like adults.”

Not AS adults but “more like” adults. Can taxes really matter this much to people?

I wonder if this wasn’t meant as a response to the ad Lena Dunham did for the 2012 Obama campaign? That’s the only thing that remotely makes sense.

Lol who do they think they’re fooling? That was one of the most patronizing ads I’ve ever seen.
