And I look at Dick Cheney as a man bitter that history will judge history Barack Obama much better than him and George W. Bush.

At least Bush has the good grace to keep his goddamn head down.

Says the consummate grifter and war monger. Everybody sucks but him. What’s that body count at now, Mr. Deficits Don’t Matter?

That should be a badge of honor any POTUS would be proud to wear.

The pure hatred coming from the Republicans towards Obama is something I’ve never seen in my lifetime. I imagine FDR took a lot of flak too, but I doubt if it was anything like what Obama gets every single day.

Were you alive during the Clinton years? I suspect every Democrat will receive this kind of treatment until the right wing implode or we the people smash them into tiny pieces. Years from now Dick will be saying the same thing about Hillary if she wins.

You have to remember that we basically have a live feed to whatever is said or reported, either by sane or insane people. The smear machines have a field day as the addled haters further the program. Want to think about something scary? Just imagine a propaganda machine like a certain German party had with all this at your fingertips, at their disposal.

If only the President had killed hundreds of thousands of people in a war started under false pretenses, and collapsed the economy; it takes a great President to do that kind of damage!

Vicious Babushka

Obama didn’t send us to war to stop a mad man from developing Nuclear Weapons only to find no evidence that he was even trying to make Nuclear weapons in the first place. It was either false pretense or one of the biggest intelligence failures in American history. We still haven’t found Saddam’s supposed WMDs. What ever happen to the nuclear arsenal the Bush administration claims he was developing.

They’re not going to implode. They’re going to have to be destroyed.

By whom I have no idea. Certainly not the Democrats.

I look at Dick Cheney and see a major asshole.

That and a maggot who would have absolutely no problem throwing your entire family through a plate glass window and then having a pizza and beer with his “buddies”. And laughing about it.

13 Romantic Heretic  Mar 17, 2015 7:11:40pm

By ‘worst President ever’ Cheney means ‘His lips are not attached to my anal sphincter.’

I call that a plus, myself.

And with a heap more justification. Hillary will not be nearly as good as Obama.

As for worst, in Cheney’s lifetime that would be Carter. 18% inflation, case closed.

It’s the Putin government in Russia. Here and now. Full of national pride, aggression, brandishing weapons, annexing bits and pieces of other countries by threat [and muted force]. Together with the Man On The White Horse.

What about the President who committed eight acts of treason and aided and abetted genocide, Reagan?

.

Well that has been the narrative since 1980 hasn’t it.

Funny, I’d say it was your Admin, Dick.
What a dick.

20 RadicalModerate  Mar 18, 2015 4:39:48am

Funny that this would come the man who will likely go down in history as the most corrupt Vice President in American history - even surpassing that of Spiro Agnew.

I’m sorry…but how much did Carter’s policies affect the inflation rate?

Gee. And no mention of the ass kissing GOP traitors who openly wished “their president was more like Putin”? Before the 47 Traitors was the Love Of All Things Putin.

Actually, they started to drive them down after Carter replaced the Federal Reserve chairman George Miller (who took a hands-off approach toward the economic shambles that Arthur Burns left during his tenure under Nixon and Ford that actually made the problem worse) with Paul Volcker whose tight monetary policy caused a short-term shock that caused a mild recession in 1980 - which finally got inflation, unemployment, and interest rates to reverse course - the economy even started to recover until the Reagan’s “supply side” policies took effect.

Hmm. When I read this quote from Cheney my first thought was “Only because GW Bush did not die in office”

26 Amory Blaine  Mar 18, 2015 5:57:49pm

There are people in the comments outright calling for assassination of POTUS.

It’s not new. It’s just more feverish. That a loser like Dick Cheney is even asked their opinion on anything is disturbing. He’s the Poster Boy for “Crime Pays, and It Pays Very Well.”
