He’s intending to look Republican primary voters in the eye and tell them the GOP needs to — yes — cut deals with Democrats if it wants to survive as a party.

Yeah, that’ll work.

Hey, Senator Graham? Can I have your stereo?

Yeah, good luck with that, Senator.

yes, you can govern while being angry. It’s called Authoritarianism.

Yet another instance of the GOP ignoring reality.

I can see this going one of two ways:

1) Graham sticks to his guns and gets shellacked because all of the other Klown Kar passengers tack hard crazy right to keep up with Cruz and the Tea Baggers.

2) Graham realizes what a mouthbreathing shit show the Tea Baggers have made the GOP and goes full metal Romney: tacks hard crazy right, because that’s the only way to win the GOP these days.

Just over the last week, Mr.Moderate himself, Chris Christie started dropping the “God gives us our rights” stupidity. I would welcome a moderate GOP, but at this point, they need to burn the whole party to the ground and start over.

re: #6 Mattand

I’d consider voting for a moderate GOP. As it is there’s no way I could support these lunatics.

Graham is delusional if he thinks the far right wing of the GOP/TP will take his injecting a bit of truth into the party sitting down. I’ve lived in the South for over 60 years. After the backlash, Graham will fold like a cheap suit. GO/TPers don’t want to know the truth. They want their beliefs, wrong though they may be, to be amplified by their political candidates. Look at what happened to Perry a few years ago when he expressed a bit of compassion for undocumented immigrants—-he tanked in his bid to win the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.

The man that Lindsey Graham replaced as South Carolina Senator made a career of ‘governing while being angry’

Not to mention being a unrepentant racist bigot.
