Sure, he’s “holding firm” because he decided long ago to pander to religious fundamentalists, and he’s stuck. He likely knows that if he is to have a chance in hell of winning the GOP presidential nomination in 2016, he’ll have to continue kissing the asses of the religious fundamentalists, even though a poll today shows that 61% of us have no problem with gay marriage.

I don’t think he really has a chance nationally, and he appears to be screwing things up for himself back in Louisiana:

Unpopular at home, Bobby Jindal getting little traction for his 2016 presidential effort | The Advocate — Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal’s focus on states important in the presidential campaign is drawing lots of criticism at home and doing little apparent good for his 2016 prospects.

Lost — at least for now — in a pack of better-known White House contenders, Jindal is taking heat in Louisiana for a $1.6 billion budget shortfall that threatens colleges and health care services with deep cuts. Lawmakers from both parties say his national political ambitions are a distraction.

“People, I believe, would love to separate themselves from him,” said Republican state Sen. Robert Adley, of Benton.

Despite frequent travel, his attention to national issues, a good relationship with religious conservatives and plenty of sharp rhetoric against President Barack Obama, Jindal is making little impact in the Republican race. […]

Jindal has been away from Louisiana 45 of the first 100 days of this year, according to an Associated Press tally.

His absenteeism is so frequent it sparked an April Fool’s joke from Republican state Sen. Dan Claitor, who tweeted April 1: “Bobby spotted at the Capitol. (April Fool).” […]

Rod Dreher has had screaming fits for the last three weeks over the capitulation of Pence and whoever the fuck in Arkansas.

To read his blog, you would think the ghey Gestapo was getting ready for Krystalnacht and shoveling Christian babies into ovens. (not really much of an exaggeration. He has lurid fantasies of all the really bad parts of Roman repession coming true here in America so he can finally be the martyr he always wanted to be)

No doubt he will be pleased that Jindal is standing firm, hard, and sightly glistening in the afternoon sunlight against the ravening hordes of librul, objectively disordered and ontologically incorrect fellow countrymen he so desperately wants to be hated by.

How bold of him.

He’s planning for retirement. A grifter needs to keep the grift going because it’s very hard to make money from the people you’ve been screwing from day one. Consulting work and such. Public projectile vomiting. Spewing forth all manner of mis this and mis that. Hard work when you have a truth slip from your greasy lips.

New Headlines:

“Bobby Jindal Wants to Rub Out Gay Marriage”

“Bobby Jindal Beats the Bishop to Condemning Gay Marriage”

But what troubles me most about his opinion is that he’s calling for a realignment between business owners and social conservatives to enforce Christian morality on the public. He’s a secret police force short of advocating fascism.

I love it when a man holds firm.
