If she becomes President of the United States, it will be good for women around the world, not just the U.S.

She will have conquered a barrier greater than the race barrier Obama overcame to be POTUS.

People really don’t understand this. That a white woman would have greater trouble being elected than a black man. I guess race trumps gender.

Black men got the vote before women did so it wasn’t surprising to me that we would elect a black President first.

I guess I never thought of it that way myself, as a 60 year old male. My problem is, I never thought it should ever have been an issue.

Yeah, my idealism can sometimes butt heads with my reality. It keeps me going. Reality can be so depressing.

Hopefully it gets done so I can check off another one during my lifetime.
