W? T? F? So the default assumption is that the victim is at fault and God because “let it happen” as some sort of punishment? And #8—they effing kidding? That’s some seriously sick, twisted crap. They make my skin crawl. They’re every bit as bad as the Muslim fundies who punish rape victims.
I’m curious—if the victim is at fault for their own suffering in sexual abuse cases (not to mention natural disasters, terrorism, etc.) Then WHY IN THE HELL are the fundies always screaming about being persecuted? They must’ve brought it on themselves, right? It’s all just to make them spiritually stronger, so it’s actually some kind of sadomasochistic blessing, right?
