When you see a crane, you may think that it is used for construction projects or to lift heavy items. Yes, I used to think like you. Cranes are hated in Iran, are used for another purpose and remind Iranian people of horrible scenes! Do not mistake, the matter is not a horrible construction incident… since the Mullahs’ regime seized power in 1979, it has used cranes as mean for hanging its opponents.

In all cases, hanging is a particularly gruesome method of execution, largely abandoned by the civilized world, though it’s true that electric chairs, gas chambers, poisoned hypodermic needles and even firing squads are hardly more civilized. In Iran, though, the hangman is held as nobler than ever. The regime clings to the primitive practice of killing people, especially the youth, while developing the advanced nuclear weapons for mass destruction.

Brutality is revered, and all but the most naive can see the lethal absurdity of arming brutes with nukes.
The gallows have been working overtime in recent months; the body count is staggering. The U.N. counted 852 Iran executions in the year ended June 2014. The total number of executions recorded during Rouhani’s tenure has reached 1700, according to the Iranian dissidents’ statistics. So far this year, 340 prisoners have been put to death, including 7 women and 6 political prisoners.

These are the official numbers human rights observers say it’s probably more. Some prisoners are hoisted high in the air at the end of a rope attached to a crane. Some dangled five across from a single horizontal beam, for maximum shock value. Others met their end when a table was simply kicked out from under their feet with their heads in a noose and their hands tied behind them.

These are the masters of inhumanity that President Obama and Western leaders are negotiating with over terms of a deal for Iran’s nuclear scientists! The Obama administration has made clear that nuclear weapons and human rights are not to be discussed together at the bargaining table. That’s unfortunate, because they’re inextricably connected.
The ruling regime in Iran is trying in vain to prevent escalation of popular protests and outpour of public outrage by resorting to ever more brutal repression to prevent its downfall. How can the U.S. expect the mullahs to honor a wide-ranging pact about nuclear arms when Iran demonstrates that it has no respect for human life? The U.S. is trying to convince the mullahs to abandon their nuclear program while it is actually bargaining away the human rights, the right to freedom and democracy and dignity of the Iranian people.
NO! The human rights of the Iranian people must be respected and shall be given high stacks at the negotiation table. The silence of West, tramples upon humanitarian values and human rights and further emboldens Iran’s religious fascist regime in slaughtering the populace and continuing its efforts to acquire the nuclear bomb and export fundamentalism and terrorism, these are words from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, charismatic leader for freedom seeking Iranians that are devoted to human rights in Iran.
