If it’s one thing I started learning about the Conservative Agenda long ago is that they hate Democracy. They hate the fact that in a true democracy, ordinary citizens have the same rights and the same voice as the wealthiest. They just ideologically hate that fact, because most live in a dreamland that one day- it is THEY themselves who will be one of the powerful wealthy elite who can call all the shots.

Net Neutrality mean the internet can be forced to still include the little guy, where massive corporations cannot throttle the lanes of communication for those who cannot cough up insane monthly fees. … They really hate that.

As long as America keeps voting GOP, this is what will happen.

And it’s absolutely scary how many people don’t know that or think the opposite. Like…”Get Government out of the internet! Federal intervention in the free market place. We do nee no stinking neutrality. Yay! And get fucked 16 ways to Sunday.

It’s that whole ‘neutrality’ thing that bothers them.

If the concept was called ‘Net War for Freedom!’ they’d support it with out question.

I’m not sure if I’m joking.

We’re #1, We’re #1, We’re #1…..
UH……No.
And with no net neutrality it would only get worse and more expensive. Johnny can’t surf with the rest of the world…

You know that part in 1984 where the fascist torturer sets forth his vision of history (i.e., a boot in a human face, forever)?

Sensible people oppose that view of history and try to make it less true.

RWNJs accept that view, usually enthusiastically, and very much want to be the boot-wearers in that sick fantasy.
