God Bless the Ayatollahs!
If, in the old days, some believed that Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was just another “religious” leader, though, with different believes than ours, it is now very clear that he is not. He, as well as his predecessor Ayatollah Khomeini, betrayed the people and misused their religious believes to attain power. The Iranian regime has always insisted on repression inside and terrorism outside its borders. Iran’s nuclear project, on the same path, was against the Iranian people’s will and interests. The world is now watching how United States and other western powers deal with Iranian regime’s greed for detrimental weapons. Ordinary people may not be interested in politics, whereas everybody is concerned about the world’s peace and security. The recent final Iran accord does not appear to have generated hopes of a safer world for us and our children. Iran is still capable of pursuing nuclear bomb. As everybody fears; the snake in the grass is still moving and can bite us
Doctors may recommend us not to talk much about subjects more sophisticated than the scope of our minds. Fine, we leave politics for presidents and prime Ministers. We do not interfere with their job; in return we expect them not to interfere with ours. Hardly can find any” human beings” on earth who is not somehow touched by the atrocities of the Iranian mullahs. Not a single day passes, in Iran, without several anti-government protests held in different cities. The number of arrests, tortures and executions made each week or day is beyond imaginations. Citizens of the regional countries such as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, etc… , are not secure from Iran’s belligerence. Even people of Europe, United States, Canada, and places as far as Australia have already tasted terrorism perpetrated by fundamentalist groups. Everybody wishes to see the end of groups such as ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Shabab and … . So how come President Obama and Mr. Secretary of State are so nice to the Ayatollahs.
A few decades ago a coalition of world powers defeated the Nazi Germany. Almost same members today hold tea party with Ayatollahs representatives. The world populace now fears that the twelve year long negotiations have not been successful. The Iranian regime is not a legitimate government. The mullahs have stayed in power by force, deception and, of course, by the international appeasement. The Iranian people are the real owners of their country. Any negotiations that do not include the Iranian people, is doomed to failure.
It is very encouraging that the United Nations monitors the deeds of Iranian regime and would react to any act of cheating. Nevertheless we need to make sure that they do not stick behind political obstacles that make them look the other way. This is not an imaginary accusation, as there are many complain about United Nation’s inaction.
How about the complaints, we hear UN obligations about a tiny little piece of land that is under US and United Nations monitoring? Somewhere off the crowded city of Baghdad is a very small place called Camp Liberty, adjacent to Baghdad International Airport which formerly belonged to US Army. This camp holds thousands of Iranian dissidents. Residents of this camp are members and supporters of Iranian opposition, People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI). Same organization that the Iranian regime fears it would be overthrown by them. So it employs its proxies to restrain the residents in this camp. The residents complain, almost every day, of the breaches of the International laws by the camp’s management. The officers controlling the camp were assigned there by the ousted Prime Minister Maleki but are still there. The Iraqi officers of the management have, in fact, imprisoned the residents inside and have closed their ties with outside. However, the camp is under US obligation and is patrolled daily by UN monitors.
In mid-July, the Iraqi forces in the camp’s management, loyal to the Ayatollahs in Tehran, did not let food, fuel, medicine and service trucks enter the camp. For God sake - never think they did it on purpose or on the behest of Iranian Mullahs. Neither United Nations nor the US government says anything about them.
Let’s praise the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other Ayatollahs whose great services to the world peace and human dignity is responded by the lies of Iranian people and those ungrateful residents of Camp Liberty. We suggest Mr. Obama pick up the phone and mollify Mr. Khamenei.
