Really, is a President Ted Cruz and better? We would have yet another Evangelical Chrsitian in office who thinks it is incumbent upon the USA and its military to do everything possible in order to bring about the 2nd Coming of Jesus.

In their mythology, this specifically means encouraging war between Israel and its neighbors using any weapons available in order to cause absolute victory and resulting elimination of the “other” , i.e. Muslims, Athiests, Communists, etc. …just about everyone who is not White-entitlement Evangelical Christian. This is choice Americans have, yet we have no discussion about Cruz as a danger to world security. Trump’s danger is by caused by money. Ego, and power grabbing, Cruz by absolute devotion to religion.

Which is worse?

They are both awful. I fear that Cruz may actually believe that ‘second coming’ narrative.

Meanwhile, Trump would destabilize and escalate situations by resorting to the tactic he excels in: bullying. His ego needs such constant feeding he might be tempted to resort to shock and awe style military maneuvers just to gratify his “Murka’s # 1” ignorant rabble of a base. I suspect his supporters would simply love to see bombs dropping all over the place confirming American dominance; they would see that as great leadership.

*shudders*
