Duterte ‘Accuses’ 150 Public Servants as ‘Players’ in the Drug Trade
Rodrigo Duterte, the new President of The Philippines, publicly accused 150 people of being involved in the drug trade. They are judges, officers in the armed forces and police, politicians. He ordered all police and military protection to be removed from them. They have 24 hours to turn themselves in or be “hunted down.”
I expected this. The first time I heard about his ‘anti-drug platform’ and the deaths caused by it I knew it was only a matter of time before he directed his campaign at political opponents, or people who might be political opponents, or just useful as a message.
Pay close attention to the Philippines. This is what a Trump Presidency will look like.
