Didn’t want to put this in the post, but just a comment— repeating internet slanders, even if only to refute them, just increases people’s willingness to believe them—the stalkers like to say that I’m an ex porn star (! all true— I’m actually Jenna Jamison), for example. Taking the time to refute this just perpetrates the smear and makes them very happy.
