And she meticulously documents the museums/auction houses/etc. where she gets the pictures of fabulous dresses and other items from. Anyway, I do love her Thread Talks, so am sharing with everyone.
On a personal note, my mother used to complain when I was a girl that up until Christmas it was Advent, NOT Christmas, and it wasn’t properly Christmas until Christmas Day, and the celebration kept going until Epiphany on January 6 (which also happens to be her birthday). She really had a thing about Christmas going for those 12 days, which may have been to spice up Christmas leftovers, but hey…
