Well, in my opinion, if they are using body count as a measure of success they are failing in their military goals. In war, you can’t measure your way to success.

Furthermore, if killing Israelis invalidates the Palestinians need for a state of their own wouldn’t the deaths of Palestinians invalidate Israel’s existence?

Shrugs. It doesn’t matter. There will never be peace in the Middle East. There are too many people, on all sides of the conflict, who want victory. Which isn’t the same thing as peace.
