Someone who injures others out of recklessness and stupidity, as Ms. Tolley did, could greatly benefit from the study of certain parts of the Bible, that is true. But it is also true that it is not the place of the state to administer such lessons. I feel certain this portion of Tolley’s sentence will be overturned, but I will also say that if she truly wishes to repent of her misdeed she should read the Book of Job anyways.
