Stand by for this “activity” to become a routine in the near future.

“technical” issue: how far can you stretch not enough warships, and fewer Marine Air-Ground Task forces?

Did you know the 82nd Airborne is great….when you can land lots of support for them on the territory on which they just parachuted into?

The planners for all forces must be doing 24/7 now, with ramped up looks at intell from certain countries making the “headlines.”

September surprise on the election front, and IMHO, this has little to do with a cheesy, crappy, stupid and (within their 1st Amendment rights) offensive movie and more to do with using that egregious YouTube video as a front to define the nature of the rationale of the attacks. It’s more like this was all carefully planned and 9/11 is no accident, nor is the deliberate, hands on murder of an ambassador. That is a signal of significance in the world of diplomacy: “We are ignoring the tenants of diplomatic relationships created millenia ago, as a safety value for human conflict.”

Kind of a “Bring it!” taunt at those levels…seeing how we respond. And they will watch closely. Every word, every speech, every ship off the coast, every drone in the sky….will all be watched for what action is taken. Those actions will define our response as they do it somewhere else, and they will count on it.
