I was thinking this morning about a convo I had with a RWNJ on twitter about gas prices and that Obama has the control to drive the prices down (like Bush did, though this RWNJ forgot that Bush’s tactics involved a global economic meltdown and printing more money).

Anyway, what I was thinking was how some (R)’s but especially TPGOP’ers think that high gas prices are a travesty, but across the board spending cuts are good. That’s not a direct parallel, but I still find it odd.
