Last month, Religious Right broadcaster Kevin Swanson hosted a neo-Confederate author to discuss how Abraham Lincoln used the Civil War — or as he called it, “The War Against The South” — to impose socialism on America.

Swanson is adding Lincoln to the list of people, such as Mark Twain, who he believes ruined the country by replacing Antebellum slavery with Big Government, socialist slavery.

“It’s the socialist utopians that come into town and they promise deliverance from local fiefdoms only to create a large tyranny in the Soviet Union, Soviet America and Soviet China and Soviet everywhere else in the world,” he said.
