So annoying. I was spinning (yes, wool, with a spinning wheel) and I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t take up. I finally unscrewed the flyer, pulled it off and one end of the partially-filled bobbin popped off, because it had been under pressure while on the flyer. This pretty much caused the spun wool to pop off into a big untangleable blob. Of course the end of a bobbin is not something that should pop off, so it will need to be glued back on. And the glue downstairs is dry so … trip to the hardware store. Later.

I wish I could spin. My hands just won’t let me.

I thought it would be good alternative to other needle-work I can no longer do, but my fingers got all numb and stuff.
