As an aside, some liberals and progressives nickname some other (furtherleft) progressives ‘firebaggers’— the people who wanted to tank HCR because it didn’t have a public option. (Fire= FireDogLake).

Firebaggers! Never heard of that one. I like it.

I’ve heard Jane Hamsher talk before. On a personal level I find her kind of annoying and she seems rather convinced about her ideas. No room for compromise. That being said she’s not far-left and will never see her writing at Counter-Punch.
