I’ve never thought Obama was being a bad person with his efforts down in Roseland (the name of the neighborhood in Chicago where he worked in the 1980’s), but one can think someone a good person and still argue that he or she is advocating for bad policy choices.

Well what are these bad policies then? What’s wrong with advocating for more spending into these communities? And you’re right, you never did say that but there have been plenty of conservatives who have tried to paint community activists like the young Barack Obama as bad people for what they do and I think that’s fucked up beyond reason.
