It’s always depressing when one of my Facebook acquaintances from photography school turns out to be a right wing dumbshit. Predictably it’s one of the born rich self centered white girls who’s bitching about her health insurance going up by $1K per month, Obamacare being so unpopular so why doesn’t he abandon it and nonsense about her paying increased taxes that don’t exist.

I don’t have the energy to combat all the stupid, so I dropped this link detailing the popularity of the provisions vs. the word “obamacare” and haven’t responded further to the continuing derp. I don’t think she understands that Obamacare is the only reason she’s been able to be on daddy’s insurance plan these last three years and the idea of pre-existing conditions and struggling to make ends meet is completely alien to her, she’s rich, connected, young and utterly lacking in empathy.

It’s so damned depressing when you see a young person with everything to be thankful for in life be so fucking ugly, selfish and stupid.
