The big thing about my dad’s generation is that he was able to send his kids to state universities and could afford to help with the tuition and expenses.

That is supposed to be the American dream, a better life for one’s children, not just tossing kids out to acquire tons of debt before they even start their careers.

Right, same thing with my mom’s dad. He was a high school drop out and lived in a time before we had special ed programs that could have benefited someone like him who probably had an undiagnosed learning disability but he was able to send both of his kids off to school and afford their tuition. I think we need to make the idea more affordable tutition for all first before we propose something like free for all. I love the idea as I said but I think like so much, I don’t see how it’s done.
