The Euro supercars don’t even have manual transmissions as an option anymore. You might get the flappy panels, but even those are phasing out because the engine timing has to be so precise.
My Challenger has the old Mercedes Benz NAG5 automatic from when Daimler Benz owned Chrysler, and it has lovely aluminum paddles for shifting, but if I just leave it in Sport mode, it generally shifts when I would. Except making left turns from a stop. It always hits second too early.
Oh, and it’s too anxious to get into 4th on long freeway on ramps if there’s someone ahead of me.
