Someone needs to tell John Edwards to stop digging.

He’s now admitting he did wrong, but didn’t break the law.

“There’s no question that I’ve done wrong,” Edwards told reporters outside the courthouse. “But I did not break the law and I never, ever thought I was breaking the law.”

Well, way to go on a defense strategy. Idiot.

He didn’t break the law? So that money just automagically appeared to come from his campaign accounts and automagically appeared to shut up the people who could squawk about his extramarital affair.
