Well, the storms tried to make it over the mountains. The biggest cell sort of did but it’s petering out pretty quickly. I think I heard three huge drops fall from the sky and hit some metal (a car?)… then nothing.

At least it is cooler.

In the US the “Green Party” is just a brand that has some recognition (due to international press reporting on legitimate Green Parties in other countries) - a brand that has been co-opted by a bunch of nuts.

I wish the US did have a legitimate “Green Party”, whose fundamental doctrine would be long term prosperity through long term sustainability. But that is not going to happen for a long time, I think.
