Industry Report: All-Time High Gun Sales Recorded in November

The FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) reported 2,006,919 background checks in November, breaking the previous record of 1,862,327 set in December 2011. As of Nov. 30, the FBI had conducted 16,808,538 background checks—also an all-time high.

According the FBI, the number of annual background checks has increased since 2002, when a total of 8,454,322 background checks were recorded.

So two million new gun sales November alone and most likely more the 18,000,000 for the entire year? Firearms sales are up by more than 100% (doubled) since 2002, but people are still fighting for the status quo of ever more and better (more deadly) guns?

The lunatics have taken over the asylum when it comes to gun issues in this country. Their paranoid and frankly delusional fantasy thinking should be pointed out for what it really is in no uncertain terms. Maintaining the status quo is no longer a morally acceptable option, if it ever was to begin with it certainly is not now.
