Gene Hackman’s greatest film?

The Conversation or The French Connection?

Me? I’m leaning toward The Conversation - it’s certainly Francis Ford Coppola’s best film. But Hackman’s performance in that film was a tour de force performance, a masterpiece of restraint, with a strong supporting cast including the late John Cazale (who left us too soon) and Harrison Ford.

Wait a minute…I love both of those movies but The Conversation better than The Godfather?

I would have to disagree with that.
