Sit with him, one arm around his neck so your hand can redirect his gaze, the other arm doing things in the mirror that you make him look to see you, the reflection, hey duke does that look familiar? wave his own paw and flap his ears and show him how the mirror dog matches his movements… he’ll catch on.
