I can’t believe how dumb the filmmakers apparently are, either. Hick’s political leanings aren’t all that hard to figure out, as you’ve pointed out.

Dumb. Deluded. Amoral. And yet they come across, somehow, as incredibly earnest in the most naive kind of way.

Consider my mind boggled.

There’s plenty of anti-capitalist stuff in the video. The film makers knew what they were doing. This is why LaRouche leftists are welcome at the Tea Parties. The real idiots are the “conservatives” who still show up to these events sponsored by Ron Paul supporters.
