All the time. Every damn day. Especially since I’m looking for work and I keep reading these articles talking about how shitty the market is and how my chances of ever getting a callback decrease the longer my unemployment goes on.

It’s hard to stay positive and to keep moving forward sometimes, but the alternative of curling up in a corner and giving up isn’t an option. I just have to hope things will change soon.

Yeah, moving back to an economically depressed area that has little to know no jobs in my chosen profession, a place I was only too happy to flee 20 years because I simply don’t fit into this small-town life/mentality/culture and never had have, may not have been the smartest move I’ve made.

I have a graduate degree, and I’m having trouble finding any work. Mostly because as noted there’s no work in my profession, but also in that McD’s and the like are probably unlikely to answer my application because they know I’d jump for a more white collar one if it bops along.

Meanwhile, graduate degree gotta pay rent and eat.
