You know, I think you’re wrong here.

There is racism, sure, and a disproportionate amount of it in the Conservativist base. But I think the hatred of Democrats and liberals is far, far more central to their faith than hatred of brown people. Cultists will happily pull the lever for Bobby Jindal if Rush tells them to, if he is ordained as one of Us. Because even a brown person can be a Thing Liberals Don’t Like, which is the only thing that matters to a Conservativist.
