I hate those ads too. Especially since “freecreditreport.com” hides the actual free credit report link; they want you to sign up for one free report and a paid monitoring service. As far as I’m concerned, it is a misleading site.
And who runs it? One of the three credit reporting agencies!
The people who handle our credit reports resort to sleazy tactics to get more money.
(I hope this is anonymous, or my credit score went down like the 0bama stock market)
