Robbing a bank is not treason, a cop robbing a bank is not treason, an oath or lack therein is not even a consideration. Actively waging war against the United States by providing aid and comfort to the enemy is treason. Passing military secrets is providing aid.

I think I know the difference between the two FOGJ, it was for a comparison. I still think having someone in the military pass secrets is the worst kind of treason. There are levels of treason. Desert Dog passing secrets to the Taliban is bad. Some sailor doing the same is even worse. Yes? or, are they the same thing?
