One thing I learned a long time ago.

Boys (and men) gossip more than women do, esp about sex. They like to broadcast their “conquests”.

How do you think girls and women who are sexually active get a “bad reputation”? Females talk more about sex generally these days, but we tend to see our intimacies in a different light.

Men are obsessed by women who “put out”, who they put out for, and why those same women don’t put out for them. Porn operates as fantasy in that regard. And even if girls or women do agree to have sex with them, the female is condemned for doing so. Unless both parties understand that sex between consenting adults is a totally private matter. For a partner to discuss intimate moments with you with a third party should be anathema to a relationship, unless it’s within the context of couples therapy or medical advice.

Porn solves that dilemma, to some degree. And the women who agree to participate in it aren’t empowering themselves, it’s not liberating—in fact, it’s usually soul-crushing, much like prostitution, and it’s simply catering to the sexual needs of men, for the most part. Of course, people can justify anything they do—just look around. Whether it’s exploitation by others, or exploitation of your own sexuality for money, it’s still exploitation of a natural function.
