I’ve watched the latter dozens of times.

I gather that it is a Christmas Cult classic just from reading my FB feed.

Our Xmas classics are Lord of the Rings and the Winnetou series. The latter come on German TV at Xmas, they are based on novels by Karl May, a 19th century German who had never visited America when he wrote his novels and are totally clueless…but classic.

Filmed in Yugoslavia.
