I think the issue is not necessarily racism by the classic definition, but a sense that the GOP has given up on courting black voters, and thereby given up on any real interest in issues largely impacting the black community(s).

And no, it’s not because they’re color-blind.

And black is not the only shade they seem to have given up on. Immigration reform, anyone?
