I don’t think we qualify as a sanctuary city (hardly qualify as a ‘city’) but the city council did vote to keep the cops off of federal duties. By some standards, that’s all we need to be a ‘sanctuary’.

This is the first place I’ve lived in which the population has declined during my residence. Central Americans would be sooo welcome. Instantly assimilated. It’s the assimilation that Miller, Trump, the RNC and Bannon hate.

pencil addition: They don’t even want the state of New Mexico to assimilate in the USA.

The new mayor of Chicago was interviewed on CNN last night and made it clear that Chicago would have no problems assimilating these immigrants. Trump and his coterie of white nationalists make a mockery of our nation and its laws. Right now, it’s the blue states that are upholding American principles.
